What most people do

When something feels off, most people distract themselves.

Scroll. Watch something. Keep busy.

Anything to avoid sitting with how they feel.

Why does distraction feel easier

Because it works… for a moment.

It takes your mind off things.

It gives you relief.

But only temporarily.

The problem with it

The feeling doesn’t go away.

It just waits.

And eventually, it comes back.

Sometimes stronger.

What healing actually looks like

Healing is slower.

It’s uncomfortable at times.

It means sitting with your thoughts instead of avoiding them.

Understanding what’s actually going on.

Something to think about

Are you giving yourself space to deal with how you feel…

Or just finding ways to avoid it?
